Lumos BioMed Consulting is proud to organize an interactive and multidisciplinary international online course in Basic Science of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Biology. This online course is designed to provide fundamentals in Basic Science of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC) and ensure access to the latest research advances. The course will be directed by a Scientific Committee of internationally renowned experts including Dr. Diego Correa, Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Orthopaedics and the Diabetes Research Institute & Cell Transplant Center, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Dr. Arnold I. Caplan, Director of the Skeletal Research Center, Department of Biology, at Case Western Reserve University, considered “the father of the MSC.” The course will also feature interactive sessions with special guests from other specialties working in Cell Therapy, Tissue Engineering and clinical applications of MSC.
This online course is designed for healthcare professionals interested in these fields as well as for those already working in this area. There are currently over 5,000+ registered clinical trials evaluating the use of Adult Stem Cells for countless diseases and medical conditions. By presenting, reviewing, and studying the rapidly evolving advances in the fields of Stem Cell Research, Stem Cell Therapy, and Regenerative Medicine, this course will provide a conceptual framework for the use of MSC as a therapeutic alternative.
Participate in this foundational course, composed of five modules, focused on aspects of basic science in Regenerative Medicine and Adult Mesenchymal Stem Cells. The self-paced online course format provides greater flexibility for busy professionals, allowing participants to navigate through the course and complete the activities when it is most convenient. There will also be a series of live online webinars where participants will be able to interact directly with Dr. Correa, Dr. Caplan, and other experts. Registration includes access to all educational materials and webinar events for 1 year.
